She required total assistance with daily activities and mobility, along with intensive IV antibiotic treatments and wound care. Due to her fragile skin, even minor pressure on her legs posed a high risk for reinfection. Through dedicated rehabilitation services, Barbara’s wounds healed, and she avoided further infections. Today, she can perform daily tasks with minimal assistance and walk up to 150 feet with a walker under supervision. She consistently praises Hollymead’s commitment to excellence, and we celebrate her incredible progress as she returns home stronger and more independent than before.

Roy Cain’s Rehabilitation Success at The Madison on Marsh Following a hospitalization for a tibial plateau fracture, Roy Cain arrived at The Madison on Marsh needing maximum assistance for all mobility and daily tasks. His journey toward recovery was challenging, requiring extensive therapy to rebuild strength and independence. With the dedication of our therapy team, Roy made significant strides. By discharge, he was confidently walking with a cane and independently managing his daily activities. Grateful for the compassionate care he received, Roy left The Madison on Marsh feeling empowered and ready to return home.

Mr. Richard Cotton’s Recovery at The Harrison After being admitted to The Harrison at Heritage in August 2024, Mr. Cotton faced multiple health challenges, including altered mental status and mobility issues. Upon arrival, he was unable to perform basic self-care tasks or move independently. Through a personalized therapy plan, Mr. Cotton worked closely with our skilled Occupational, Physical, and Speech Therapy teams. Over time, he regained strength, improved his cognition, and achieved his goal of greater independence. With the support of his family and our dedicated staff, he successfully reached his recovery milestones.

Ms. Koishigawa’s Determined Comeback at The Carlyle After sustaining multiple injuries in a motor vehicle accident, Ms. Koishigawa arrived at The Carlyle unable to bear weight on her right leg. She initially required significant assistance for mobility and daily tasks, but she remained determined to regain her independence. With persistent effort and the guidance of our rehabilitation team, she progressed rapidly. As she approached discharge, she was walking unlimited distances and independently managing her self-care. Her motivation and commitment to recovery inspired everyone around her.

David Daniels’ Inspiring Recovery at Carrara At 81 years old, David Daniels faced multiple medical complications following hospitalization for generalized weakness and acute cystitis. Upon admission to Carrara, he required full assistance with mobility and daily activities. Despite early setbacks, David’s determination, combined with the expertise of our rehabilitation team, led to an incredible transformation. After six weeks of therapy and medical management, he regained his ability to perform daily activities and walk with supervision. Excited to share his journey, David expressed, “I always wanted to be a Hero.”
