Spiritual and emotional support
Elysian Hospice chaplains offer spiritual and emotional support to patients and their loved ones, both during and after hospice care. Spiritual support is non-denominational and designed to help and comfort, regardless of faith.
Even after your loved one’s term of hospice care, we continue to provide bereavement counseling for up to 13 months to help with emotional healing.
Pet therapy to bring a smile
Patients gain a positive emotional boost from visits with specially certified and insured animals. Our dogs are friendly and well-trained and visit regularly.
Aromatherapy that soothes
Specially designed therapeutic scents delight, soothe, and harmonize body and spirit. Aromas can have a substantial effect in calming symptoms and improving quality of life. Our team employs aromatherapy where indicated or desired.
Start with an evaluation
Considering hospice care is an emotional decision, one that benefits from having a conversation with a compassionate specialist. We work closely with the family and primary care physician to determine the right time for hospice care and the most appropriate level of care.
